Barcodeworks is a freeware add-in for Microsoft Word (97 and higher) that can be used to insert EAN-8, EAN-13 and JAN codes into your Word document. The add-in does not need any special fonts to create a barcode, it inserts the barcode as a word-picture composed from lines and (optional) digits. Word documents containing these barcodes can be sent to other users without them having to install or buy any special font. You can also use the add-in to create a barcode and copy-paste it into other applications like illustrator etc.

Final Word is a Word 97 document that comes with a simple encryption macro that scrambles the contents of the document, can also be password protected. Use a specific phrase as a 'key' to scramble the document and use the exact same key to unscramble it. Use the 'Save As...' feature to save each document in order to use it over and over.

Gives you quick and easy right-click access to synonyms, alternative word meanings, and antonyms from within any Microsoft Word for Windows 97 document. Simply right-click on any word in a document, choose Thesaurus from the shortcut menu, and you will be presented with a popup menu listing synonyms and antonyms for the selected word.
