The program Drawing for Children is a drawing program that is especially suited for small children, they don't need to be able to read to use it. Also, rather than asking the user to set all sorts of options it simply gives a large number of different ways of drawing, the best way to learn what the program can do is to simply play with all the buttons. There are normal drawing commands, for drawing lines, circles, etc. but also many weird ones to draw railroads, pipes, bubbles, grass, etc. Just try experimenting to make the weirdest pictures. There are many different pens, stamps, cliparts, backgrounds, and special effects.

Paint.NET is image and photo manipulation software that is meant to be a free replacement for the MS Paint software that comes with all Windows operating systems. It has many of the powerful features that expensive, commercial applications have, including the ability to use layers. The programming language used to create Paint.NET is C#. We welcome any suggestions, and provide the source code for final releases under the MIT License.

Sketcher is a lightweigth interactive 2D vector drawing program for the .NET framework. A vector drawing application is not a paint-type program that uses bitmap (pixel) files, instead it creates shape objects using mathematical equations.
