BerBible is a simplified, OpenSource, freeware program designed to run on any computer (even older, slow systems) and to be used by everyone including non-techies, children, missionaries, seniors, etc. The learning curve is almost trivial because only the bare essentials are shown with the initial layout. You can go directly to a specific verse or search for verses with specified word(s). The small 'StarterKit' download includes the program, World English Bible (WEB) with OT & NT, and extensive documentation including Context Sensitive Help, Hover-Tool-Tips, Tip-of-the-Day, F1 HtmlHelp, several FAQ's, e-support, and 100+ step tutorial oriented to less experienced end-users. Even on 'dinosaur' computers, BerBible gets started in less than one second. Word/phrase searching is very fast and flexible to find what you are looking for. An animated slideshow is available to show basic features, it doesn't assume the end-user has a high res monitor and latest hardware or is an expert user. The small download is optimized for people with slow, unreliable, or expensive Internet connectivity.

Universal Qibla Calculator (or "UQC" for short) is a Windows program that calculates the Qibla direction (direction of the Holy Mecca) from any location on earth. This program gives the direction relative to the true north pole and the distance from the selected city to Mecca. UQC shows the current time of five different timezones, with analog and digital clocks. You can simply choose from a list of about 1000 cities and also setup 10 user-defined cities. Daylight Saving Time (DTS) rules are correctly implemented. There are 8 time formats for displaying timezones, colors are configurable, also an alarm clock with user-defined message display and sound signal.
