| Delay
Calculator 1.0 |
Delay Calculator is a simple
tool I wrote to convert bpm into milliseconds according to common
note values. Note values are arranged into four tabs, sixteenths,
twelfths, triplets and dotted.

| MP3RSS
Magician 1.5 |
MP3RSS Magician is a MP3 tagging
application that allows for the integration of a Podcasting RSS
XML file. The program is simple, import an MP3, create/modify
the ID3 tags, then if the user wants to create a Podcasting file,
just click one of the buttons. |
| MP3
Repair Tool 1.5 |
You are currently working with
your MP3 files and suddenly one file does not play anymore - this
sounds familiar? MP3 files are very sensitive, just a single modified
byte can make the whole file unreadable for several MP3 players
so an accident or bug in a MP3 editor can easily corrupt a file.
But this doesn't mean that the entire file is lost, MP3 Repair
Tool can help you! Important note: MP3 Repair Tool deletes the
beginning and/or end of MP3 files. You cannot undo this action. |
| SHERLOCK
- The Codec Detective! 2.0 |
Audio and Video playback problems
can often be caused by NOT having the correct codec installed
on your computer, or even the wrong version installed. SHERLOCK
- The Codec Detective determines the codecs installed on a Windows
XP computer, checks to see if any of the codec's are broken and
exports the data to a text file for technical support. |
| BestPractice
0.9 |
BestPractice is a tool to slow
down or speed up music, either from a wave file or directly from
a CD. Ordinarily the sound is distorted when slowed down or sped
up BestPractice tries to correct this, so you can slow down and
speed up music, while keeping the original tune. You can also
change the pitch of the music without affecting its length. Use
it to study a piece of music; transcribe music; tune a song to
your instrument; change a song key to match your voice; or simply
have fun with audio files! |
| PianoTuner
1.00 |
PianoTuner enables you to alter
the velocity of incoming MIDI messages which will change the touch
and feel of your digital piano or keyboard. You can adjust the
velocity of EACH KEY seperately using an editable curve that ensures
that zero velocity remains zero and maximum velocity remains 127
(as described in the MIDI standard) resulting in natural sounding
velocity levels. To imitate the silence when a key is hit very
gently, I added a cut-off velocity. To avoid the extreme loudness
when playing a midi-file through-out the piano, I also created
a maximum velocity slider. You can also monitor the notes directly
on the on-screen pianobar together with the velocity used. |
| Soundplant
26.1 |
Soundplant 26.1 is a self-contained
digital audio performance program that turns your computer keyboard
into a fully customizable sample-triggering device. It allows
the assignment of sound files of unlimited size to virtually any
keyboard keys, with no external devices needed and no MIDI involved.
It can be used as a drum pad, to add a live track to an already
made song, to mix together tracks in realtime, to create music
or loops from scratch, to quickly sketch sound designs, to give
new life to old sounds, or as a performance, presentation, or
installation tool. |
| Monkey's
Audio 3.97 |
Monkey's Audio is a fast and
easy way to compress digital music. Unlike traditional methods
such as mp3, ogg, or lqt that permanently discard quality to save
space, Monkey's Audio only makes perfect, bit-for-bit copies of
your music.. That means it always sounds perfect – exactly
the same as the original. Even though the sound is perfect, it
still saves a lot of space. (think of it as a beefed-up Winzip™
for your music) The other great thing is that you can always decompress
your Monkey's Audio files back to the exact, original files. That
way, you'll never have to recopy your CD collection to switch
formats, and you'll always be able to recreate the original music
CD if something ever happens to yours. Monkey's Audio is completely
free! Freely available source code, simple SDK and non-restrictive
licensing - other developers can easily use Monkey's Audio in
their own programs -- and there are no evil restrictive licensing
agreements. |
| AnalogX
Bound 1.00 |
So what exactly does AnalogX
Bound do? Well, it simply clamps any audio to within a user-specified
range... What this eliminates is one of the more common errors
a plugin makes with high-volume samples - wrapping. This means
the other plugin would take something like a 32bit sample 1.1,
and instead of clamping it to 1.0, it instead wraps it to -0.9,
which is very bad. Of course, Bound requires an application that
supports DirectX Audio plugins (like the Paris or WaveLab), and
works with primarily realtime applications, although it might
work with some non-realtime as well. Bound supports mono or stereo
sound streams, as well as 16bit and 32bit data types, although
it really is geared for 32bit audio. |
| AnalogX
BitPolice 1.02 |
Just like our fine officers on
the streets, BitPolice is looking to catch some poor quality plugins
in the act of trashing your audio fidelity! Simply start two copies
of BitPolice, and place one before the plugin you're interested
in, and one after. Then just compare the results, and the bit's
don't lie. In order to use BitPolice, your application must support
DirectX Audio Plugins, and must also support realtime processing
(such as Paris or WaveLab). If your application forces you to
render the output from DirectX plugins, you're out of luck and
should complain to the people who wrote it, because there's nothing
I can do to help you out. |
| AnalogX
ACM Properties 1.00 |
ACM Properties is an easy way
to get a listing of all the installed ACM plugins, as well as
the audio formats that they can input and output (and their respective
bit depths, sample rates, etc). ACM Properties is especially handy
when you're having a problem using a plugin in another program,
and can quickly check to see if the format is correct. |
| AnalogX
DXMan 1.00 |
Are you a power DirectX Audio
user, or do you just want to have a better grasp of where all
those plugins are going? Frustrated with plugins still showing
up in all your programs, even though you deleted them ages ago?
Then AnalogX DXMan is for you! DXMan allows you to add or remove
plugin registrations on a whim... Find out almost any piece of
information related to a plugin, from it's Class ID, to it's input
and output pins, to it's filename and path, even it's properies
page! |
