| fvSplitter
0.1 |
fvSplitter splits mp3 albums
into individual tracks and adds the title of the track to the
mp3 file name and tags it at the same time. fvSplitter can search
and download Compact Disk Database (CDDB) files. These files contain
the track titles and durations. The duration information contained
in these files do not necessarily match the split points between
tracks in your mp3 album. fvSplitter allows you to manually adjust
the presets in the CDDB files so that the individual tracks split
from mp3 albums start and end correctly.

| CUE
Splitter 0.5 |
| CUE Splitter splits a single
big CUE + MP3/WAV file, created with programs like CDRWin or similar,
into a series of MP3/WAV files each one with the length specified
in the CUE file. File names, ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags of the generated
MP3/WAV, will contain the information extracted from the source
CUE file. Files mask allows you to customize the generated MP3
files name, it is also possible to associate .CUE file extensions
with this program. The interface of the program is written in
both Italian and English and you can easily create a new language,
writing your own INI language file. INI language files can be
found in the "LANG" directory. |

SplitWave is a free tool that
divides a single wave (.wav) file into separate tracks by automatically
detecting periods of silence. SplitWave can handle large (>
1 Gig) sound files with ease, by reading the sound data in small

| Wave
Splitter 2.1 |
Wave Splitter from Claudiosoft
is a freeware utility that allows you to extract a sample from
a .wav file without loading it into memory. No matter how big
your source wave file is (it may be hundreds of megabytes!), if
you want to sample a part of it, you can do it very quickly, without
wasting RAM. The .wav file can be visualized to make selection
easier, and the output file can be normalized (amplitude, offset). |
