MetarWeather utility decodes METAR weather reports from around the world, and displays them in a simple weather report table. You can save the weather report into text, HTML or XML files. MetarWeather can decode METAR reports from a text file, or download the latest reports directly from the Internet.

MyWxThing LT 1.0
MyWxThing LT (My Weather Thing Lite) provides current weather for any one of over 6,000 worldwide weather stations and a next day local forecast for US locations. Local weather includes a graphical display of the temperature, dew point, sky conditions, weather, pressure, wind, and visibility. The model-derived forecast includes next-day high and low temperature for US stations. MyWxThing LT functions with little user interaction and low system overhead, and runs from the System Tray, with the icon showing the current temperature. Setup is as easy as clicking on a map and selecting the location of interest. The display in MyWxThing is customizable, such as to display temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit. This program is freeware and does not contain spyware, adware, trojans, or annoying pop-ups found in many other "free" programs. It is called 'lite' because of its ease of use and very low system overhead.

This program is an effort to save lives and property during severe weather and all you need to become a member of the SKYWARN network of volunteer spotters is a set of eyes to watch the skies and a dedication to helping save lives. SKYWARN is an element in the community preparedness program of the National Weather Service and part of the U.S. Commerce Department's National Disaster Warning System which alerts people to impending hazards.
