Now there is a powerful alternative for entry-level Web analytics software, NetTracker Lite is designed to not only replace free "hit-counter" Web analytics software, but even low-priced, entry-level commercial Web analytics solutions. It's a relative of the NetTracker family of commercial Web analytics solutions but make no mistake about it, NetTracker Lite is not "crippleware" -- it simply doesn't have all of the functionality of our commercial solutions. In fact, we think that you will be pleasantly surprised by all of the capabilities found in our freeware, NetTracker Lite.

It begins capturing traffic when you start it, and its output can be saved to a file for off-line viewing. It has full search capability and, if you find that you're getting information overload, simply set up one or more filters. It is an excellent debugging and analysis tool for the developer writing web applications and for the web page designer wanting to analyze how their web pages download over a slow connection.

It tells you which pages are most popular, which countries people are visiting from, which sites they tried to follow broken links from, etc. It is very fast and you can have the output in any of 21 different languages. It's written in standard C, so should compile on almost any machine with a C compiler. AnalogX QuickDNS (Commandline) 1.54
If you've used Analog, the webserver log analyzes tool (no relation to yours truly), then you know it rocks. One of the best features of Analog is it's speed, but it's not as fast as it could be - Enter AnalogX QuickDNS! The only slow spot in Analog is it's DNS lookup, which QuickDNS handles! Simply execute it before you run Analog, and it will do all of the DNS work for it, and it even uses the same config file! At it's default setting it's about 20x faster than Analog (ie, it's running 20 simultaneous threads), so you'll notice a performance increase right off the bat. It also handles all of the DNS work that Analog normally does as well (rechecking valid and invalid links after a certain amount of time). Simple to use, small, and free, so download it now and start loggin'!
