Color Count OCX is an ActiveX control that will indicate the number of colors available on a PC video monitor. Programmers who display bitmaps in their programs will find the control useful because the control can indicate how many colors are available on a PC monitor. For example, you decide to create two color bitmaps, one saved in 256 colors and the other in True Color. Using the control you can decide which bitmap to display depending on the return value of the OCX. If the value is 4 then this is 16 colors, if 8 its is 256, if 16 its High Color, and 32 represents True Color. If only 16 colors detected then display a message that the user needs to enable at least 256. If 256 or High Color then display the 256 color bitmap. If True Color then display the true color bitmap. This control is free, but displays an about screen upon initialization in design and compiled mode. To obtain the version without the message, please send an E-Mail to Wes White along with your name and the name of the site where you obtained the control. The "registered" control will be sent to you by E-Mail.

Chanary Internet Timer ActiveX Control is a free ActiveX control to simplify building applications that use an Internet timer. Required : Visual Basic 5.0 Runtime. Including : Two samples project (VB5)

This is just another gradient ActiveX control, with a few features that I have never found in other gradient controls, like the ability of acting as a title bar and moving the form in which it is placed, supporting transparent controls without problems or being able to make the gradient between any two colors.
