Piky Basket is a handy utility that extends the copy/move capabilities of Windows by allowing you to collect files into a virtual basket, and then copy, move or paste them at once. It makes file management and organizing easier, rather just add all the files via the new Explorer right-click option (Add to PikyBasket) and then process them later. This can be a great time saver when you want to collect files for backup, sharing, CD burning and so on. In addition, the program allows you to copy file paths to the clipboard and allows you to launch a command prompt from any folder. A nice add-on for Windows, that is there when you need it, and does not use up any resources otherwise.

File Sieve is a small application designed to create 27 (#-Z) directories and sort (sieve) the files in a selected source directory into them by examining the first character in their filenames. This can be a significant time-saver for a simple but extremely repetitive task. The program can come in handy if you want to organize files for archiving, or to put them on a CD.

CheckFolder is a simple freeware tool that allows you to check if all files in a folder or drive can be read. This useful program can be used for example to find corrupted files on hard disk or to verify that all files copied to a CD or DVD are readable.
