| KL-Detector
1.0 |
| KL-Detector is designed to provide
a way to find out whether your activity is being recorded with
a keylogger application. It uses the fact that most keyloggers
create a hidden log file on your hard drive and therefore scans
for any suspicious activity during a test period that you have
to initiate. Basically, it asks you to use the keyboard for several
minutes, type some text or do similar activities, while it is
monitoring your system to check if it can detect any suspicious
logging activity. KL-Detector is intended for occasional use and
not as a permanently running program, as normal PC activity may
cause false positives. |
| CWShredder
2.19 |
CWShredder™ finds and destroys
traces of CoolWebSearch, the name given to a wide range of different
browser hijackers. Though the code is very different between variants,
they are all used to redirect users to coolwebsearch.com and other
sites affiliated with its operators. CWShredder now cleans the
CWS.Cassandra variant that includes a desktop hijack as well as
a browser hijack. The CoolWebSearch Trojan installs dozens of
bookmarks, adds a toolbar to Internet Explorer, changes your home
page, significantly slows down the performance of your PC, and
introduces some modifications which cause Windows to freeze, crash
or randomly reboot. |
| RootKit
Hook Analyzer 1.0 |
RootKit Hook Analyzer will tell
you what kernel hooks are active on your system. It displays all
kernel system services along with their base addresses, responsible
modules as well as product names companies and module descriptions.
If no hooks are active on your system it means that all system
services are handled by NTOSKRNL.EXE, the principal base component
of most Windows operating systems which is developed by Microsoft.
All you have to do to find out what kernel hooks are installed
on your system is press the Analyze button at the bottom of the
screen. RootKit Hook Analyzer also allows you to view installed
system modules and drivers with their base addresses as well as
file and product information and the responsible companies. |

| SpyBot
Search & Destroy 1.34 |
Spybot - Search & Destroy
can detect and remove spyware of different kinds from your computer.
Spyware is a relatively new kind of threat that common anti-virus
applications do not yet cover. If you see new toolbars in your
Internet Explorer that you didn't intentionally install, if your
browser crashes, or if you browser start page has changed without
your knowing, you most probably have spyware. But even if you
don't see anything, you may be infected, because more and more
spyware is emerging that is silently tracking your surfing behaviour
to create a marketing profile of you that will be sold to advertisement
companies. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm in trying
to see if something snooped into your computer, too :) |

the Spyware functions and not tell you Spy Chaser lists them and
lets you enter a program name to see if it's on this list. Many

| SpySites
1.0 |
Stop Web Sites from installing
Spyware, Sleazeware and Cookies on your PC! SpySites includes
a database of over 4,600 known Spy/Sleaze sites and guides you
through the simple process of including them in Internet Explorer's
Restricted Zone and setting policies to prevent them from performing
intrusive acts on your PC. By setting the policies for the Restricted
sites zone to a very high level of security, you can be assured
that any web sites added to the Restricted sites zone cannot do
certain things which could compromise your privacy and security.
Internet Explorer's Restricted Zone can be extremely effective
blocking these actions but Microsoft's Help file doesn't explain
exactly how it works, what it does or how to use it. |

(SSI) detects Spyware running on any home or enterprise system
