Toddler Keys is just a simple little program I wrote to save my computer from my little girl. It allows you to lock the CD drive doors (to prevent them from being broken), and disable the power button (to prevent the computer from being turned off while being worked on). It also provides a screen you can run that shows any pictures you like and plays any sounds you like when they press keyboard keys. You can select the images and sounds to be used by copying them to the Toddler Keys folder. While running they cannot get out of the program and accidentally ruin anything! To exit the locked screen, just type the word QUIT.

Desktop Locker is very simply a Windows 95/98 desktop locking program. It will lock your desktop and require a password to free it. That's the simple explanation. But Desktop Locker is much more than that. Desktop Locker can password protect your computer so that every time your computer starts you must enter a password. You can set it to this before Windows loads, after Windows loads, or both. You can also have it password protect DOS mode. And then there's options: When locking your desktop in Windows, Desktop Locker can give you 60 seconds to enter the password before locking the computer or you can have it lock your computer right away. And you can choose to show the Windows taskbar or not.

With ClearName you can wipe out the last logged in user name from the Windows login prompt. If you are concerned with security or just want to "hide your tracks", just add ClearName to your login script. ClearName runs in invisibly, so when you launch it you never see a thing happen. Once ClearName erases the last login name, it closes down. ClearName can be run from a Novell or NT/2K login script, or from the Windows Startup Group.
