from the Explorer context menu allows you to convieniently open
them in the directory that was right-clicked on). However, QwikTulz
must be installed for these programs to run. |
| ShellExView
1.11 |
ShellExView utility displays
the details of shell extensions installed on your computer, and
allows you to easily disable and enable each shell extension.
Shell Extensions are in-process COM objects which extend the abilities
of the Windows operating system. Most shell extensions are automatically
installed by the operating system, but there are also many other
applications that install additional shell extension components.
For example: If you install WinZip on your computer, you'll see
a special WinZip menu when you right-click on a Zip file. This
menu is created by adding a shell extension to the system. |

| Shell
Object Editor 3.0 |
This program is an editor for
shell objects, you can create new shell objects and delete them
when you don't need or want them any longer. You can create shell
folders (which act like hard links to directories, think of the
"my documents" folder) and shell objects (which act
like hard links to programs, think of the "internet explorer"
icon on your desktop) - both can be created in "my computer",
on the desktop, in the control panel or the network neighbourhood.
