to a Windows error code and allows you to determine what the error
message given by an application actually means. The programming

for them in their applications. |
| WinErrs

Operation' or 'Page Fault' error message and wonder what it meant?

Command Line |
Command line options are VERY
useful & allow you to customize the way a program or shortcut
works to best suit your individual way of working. For example,
a desktop shortcut to Windows Explorer normally opens with your
C drive tree expanded, if the first thing you do is close that
up & expand another drive, change the shortcut command line
from C to the drive you prefer to access. Don't know how to use/edit
the command line? RJL Software gives clear instructions with screenshots,
just follow the link on this web page. |
| DOS
Command Index 3.0 |
Useful tasks like fdisk, format,
partitioning, etc. can be daunting for even experienced computer
users because they require DOS commands and, although the commands
are listed in the instructions, they are not explained. This website
lists information and examples (from the author's book "EasyDOS")
about all current DOS commands. Click on a command name for complete
information about that command and examples of its use, print
out the page for reference. |
